KDE 4.4.2 on Mandriva 2010.0
Written by GeekBrains

KDE 4.4.2 SC was released on 30 March 2010. KDE SC 4.4.2 has a number of improvements:

  • Possible crashes in Plasma, Dolphin and Okular have been fixed
  • The Microblog applet now shows the correct time in the timeline
  • The audioplayer KRunner plugin has been fixed to not freeze the KRunner UI anymore

Mandriva 2010.0 was shipped with KDE 4.3.2 and KDE 4.4.2 was available only in the cooker section for the upcoming spring edition of Mandriva 2010.1. I just wanted to quickly give it a spin on my main desktop which is running Mandriva 2010.0 x86-64.

I'm going to show you all how ridiculously easy it is in Mandriva to configure your USB 3G Modem in a KDE 4.xx environment

Please follow the instructions and screenshots below.
